Note From Edith: They lived in Batesville and we were all very fond of Uncle Neil & Aunt Opal. He drove a taxi for a living and would give us free rides. He died in November 1996. Aunt Opal is still with us and Lee Neil visits her often. I guess the "Neil" in Lee Neil's name was after Uncle Neil. I always felt bad that he never did visit Mother or have much to do with her. Aunt Opal was very kind and took us in once when Mother was ill with ulcers on her leg and took care of Mother and all us kids from Harry on down to Glenn. |
